I think that the trans sport episode this week on John Oliver was one of the most amazingly well done stories I’ve seen. Of course he has his shouty style, but it was done with facts and compassion and was a real reset of reality.
BTC and ETH have both been debased by their USD exchange rate obsession which is actually antithetical to their purpose as alternative currencies. Fiat exchange debases crypto IMO.
BUT, ERC20 on a blockchain can allow communities to create their own independent currencies interacting with other communities of value.

I’ve watched cnbc for years; I remember it well during the gfc crash and going outside in oz time thinking; the birds are still chirping. I saw Rick Santelli’s tea party rant that started it all. Now it looks like the hunger games and is actually fun. Andrew Ross Sorkin, Carl Quintanilla and Steve Leisman are going rogue with principles against the woke right crew while uselessly Kramer blows in the wind and Becky Quick/Hymen tries to be everyone’s friend. It’s the best series on tv.
I agree totally that left vs right is now a useless distinction relegated to the gray of social media shit storms. The correct filter of any argument is liberty vs authoritarian talk.
