This is the brand new Hotel Jokulsarlon - spa / outdoor hot tubs opened yesterday to the public

16 hours of driving yesterday was epic and exhausting. Drove the F910 from Laugerfell to Lake Askja and then down through the Highlands. Scenery was absolutely stunning running through lava fields and black volcanic sand dunes.

Currently planning my next trip to Iceland - Going August 4-15 of this year.
Did the golden circle and ring road pretty fully in 2019, so I’m trying to focus on more f-roads and off-the-track exploring (while still being respectful of my wife that doesn’t do ⛺️ camping).
