Appreciate the support and love that people are connecting with Issues over time! This piece was inspired by the Western Electric Model 2500 telephone, which featured a 12-button keypad including the * and # keys, was introduced in 1968. This model became widely popular for its user-friendly design and the introduction of the Touch-Tone dialing system, which replaced the rotary dial system.
