This @askgina.eth experiment got a bit lost in the channel frenzy - making list template that makes her lists look human. This needs refining and won't necessarily work, but my bet is that new users could see it and stop to look a bit longer than they would otherwise

Making a distinction between members and followers unlocks better content, drives more (meaningful) engagement and over time attracts users
Because you may be just interested in a topic (eg /design) as an enthusiast, in which case you can just follow and read the content for free
But what's the content? Who's posting it? Up to now, the answer to these questions was unclear
It was good fun, but as Farcaster grows we need higher signal ways to let users qualify content to decide whether it is worth their attention and time

Looks like the channel migration ran into issues, so let's give it a couple days and see if / what gets resolved.
In the meantime, reminders:
- this channel is going to become a home for design practitioners and students;
- all members will need to be subscribed to hypersub.xyz/s/design-channel (fees going towards channel-run /rounds)
There will be ways of earning grants (ie. scholarships, h/t @disky.eth for the idea) for people who want to participate but can't afford to. But we will be raising sub fees very soon to make sure that only people who actually align with the mission of the channel are active members, so if you want in, don't wait
Subscribing must buy access to a community that's helpful, knowleadgeable and on-topic
