So frustrating to see posts like "if climate change caused Milton, what caused earlier strong hurricanes". And also seeing people claiming that it was engineered. What's the point of science if people that actually VOTE choose to believe whatever they want? When and WHY did science become political? 🤦🏽♂️

In fact automation has been making people slightly poorer over the time just hard to notice because it doesn't happen immediately. An entirely new younger cast? or CGI/AI made characters using the same actors as a base. I'd prefer the original cast with CGI/AI as long as it looks realistic 🙏 can't believe we're in the AI era and this can't be done well yet. The Mandalorian Luke's appearance was acceptable but it had that something that made it clear it was CGI.

Distribution of wild hippos worldwide. Hippos were introduced in Colombia by Pablo Escobar and now there are around 200 in the wild. They threaten to disrupt the Colombian ecosystem of Magdalena River. Luckily that river is not connected to the Amazon rain forest and its separated by mountains

Have avoided to comment on the middle east war, but the exploding pagers is just going too far. If the world just allows this to go without consequences, and accountability, it'll be the "thumbs up" for many autocratic countries to do whatever they want to people. This must stop.
When I was a kid, in the news there used to be extreme wildfires, floodings, hurricanes and heat waves like once every 2-3 years and they were important events. A decade ago, it started to happen at least once every year. Now we have multiple extreme climate events per year, and it's normal. One must be blind not to notice the dramatic increase in frequency of these events in the last 2 decades.
