when you girlbossed a bit too hard and now it’s a sunny wednesday but you have to work

should’ve pivoted to plates mum when I had the chance
where are all the marketers on farcaster?
trying to follow and learn from the best (and besties).
drop your faves. tag your crushes!

(bonus if you're into brand, comms, or storytelling - hi 👋)
repeat after me:
telegram group isn’t a community.
airdrop isn’t loyalty.
IMO the best podcasts and interviews aren’t the ones that confirm your views - they’re the ones that challenge them.

Which podcasts/episodes or voices have actually done that for you? Tag please!
my question is... should this be on @zora ?

Newest proof of humanity: typos.

As a non-native speaker I used to stress over everrrrry word because sounding fluent wasn’t a flex but survival in PR/Comms for obvious reasons.

So every email - big or small, client or internal - I’d re-read it five times. Checking for grammar slips, weird sentence structure, anything that made me seem like I didn’t know how to write.

Now the stuff I trained myself out of is suddenly 'authentic'.

Shoutout to all non-native speakers, apparently we’ve been proving we’re human long before AI showed up :)
oh hi bitcoin! nice of you to join us x
.@base is testing new rails for creator monetization + you don’t ship at their scale without catching heat sometimes. That’s part of building in public
Not here to dunk on @base or @jessepollak. We’re early. When you’re experimenting onchain, there will be fvck ups that’s part of it.

But if I were running point on comms, i’d have done it differently. Base (and @coinbase more broadly) have done such a good job bringing the community into everything they do and Coinbase especially has set the bar on making complex ideas accessible; clear explainers, strong messaging, educational resources etc.

This time that scaffolding was missing. No much context on what that was meant to be and because of that it landed more like a stealth token launch (?) than a fun cultural moment.

Think the takeaway isn’t “don’t experiment”.
I
t’s: be clearer with intent. Set expectations, especially, when you know people are watching and capital might flow.

We’re all learning in public. Just my two cents on what might’ve made it land cleaner 🫶
One piece of earned press = ~10 pieces of owned content.

Your (hard) earned media has to be your evergreen fuel. Build flywheels that spin press into presence, presence into more press. Repeat.

Hi can I call you back in a few cups of coffee
Yes, crypto media is shrinking. But distribution isn’t.
Don’t wait for media to shape the story. Build narrative momentum here/on X first.

Few people understand that PR isn’t where you start - it’s where you scale.
Friends (this might sound weird coming from me): Press doesn’t always equal traction.

Don’t let your PR team chase coverage for the sake of it. What you really need is visibility. The best comms teams will help you find the smartest channels and strategies to get there 🤝
number 3000+ on The Leaderboard, lol. Need that number to go down 🤌🏼
so... the mini apps. What do I try first?
Don't know who needs to hear this today but “decentralized” isn’t a story. It’s infrastructure.

Your story is what decentralization enables - not the fact that it exists.
Ok what does 'a narrative that holds in volatility' actually look like?

- it doesn’t chase price action
- it anchors your product to long-term trends
- it speaks to market participants + the builders shaping the next cycle
- it adapts to macro conditions without losing the plot
