One day, I commented to this sweet guy how I love his shirt as I was helping him. We talked for a while about my artistic endeavors and the significance of salt. Then, in the middle of the convo he proceeded to take the t-shirt of his back and gave it to me. I didn’t know what to say. He said: I know where to get another one like it—and while you need to obviously wash it— when you wear it remember who you are, what you have done, and what you will do.
