In one of my previous posts I mentioned how during my first tour all the local female girls animators approached me to get acquainted. But they all left right after I said I was married (although I wasn't married - I just followed the advice "not to get involved with local girls"). Well, I found their photos)

By the way, the male animators, as far as I know, also tried to start relationships with the female photographers and guides from our company. And unlike the girls, they didn't seem to care whether the women were married or already in a relationship! 😂

As for those girls, after the first conversation, they never talked to me again - to be honest, I don't remember that in all the years of working there I talked to them again, although we ended up going on tours together quite often.
Ho-Ho-Ho dirty northerners 😁

Random photo #12: very pompous, but these were photos for a company that rents out such cars.
In Bávaro, it’s pretty easy to find a place to rent, but the challenge is finding one in a residence with good water (it often smells awful) and decent security. So while finding an apartment is simple, getting one in a nice area for a reasonable price is much trickier.

Another issue you might run into is dealing with bad landlords. Some will find all kinds of excuses to avoid returning your deposit, often just ignoring you completely. I actually had this happen to me. When I was moving to a new apartment after a year, the landlady started avoiding me, not answering her phone, thinking I’d just leave the country and drop it.

But there’s a solution! You need to show up and say (ideally in Spanish): “If the deposit isn’t returned by tonight, I’ll be back tomorrow with a lawyer and the police. Then you’ll not only have to return the deposit but also pay additional fees for the lawyer and police.”

After saying that, I had my deposit back within an hour!
Random photo #11: Sunrise over a mountain somewhere in the UAE, the name of which I don't know, but it's beautiful)
It's attack north time, we'll make it right,
With bubbles of courage, we'll clean the night.
No more grime, no more stink,
We’ll scrub it away, faster than they think!

With our sudsy might and soap brigade,
We'll turn the tide, let freshness invade.
Raise the sponge, hear the foam bell chime,
It's attack north time!

Moved back to Bavaro from Constanza. I’d been looking for a new apartment for a while since I was sick of living with my roommate—an idiot and a drug addict. I finally found a place, but there was an unresolved issue with paying for electricity. Back then, I had no idea where or how to pay for it, and, for some reason, I didn’t bother figuring it out. As a result, I ended up owing my roommate about 3,000 pesos.

Most of my friends there had this weird habit of collecting coins and tossing them into a bowl near their door. So, I thought, ‘Hey, wouldn’t it be funny to pay the 3,000 pesos entirely in 1-peso coins?’ Haha. To my surprise, it didn’t take me long to gather 3,000 coins. I stuffed them all into an old sock, left it on the table with a note, and moved out.

Dominicans aren’t big fans of being paid in small coins, but, well, that wasn’t my problem anymore!
Random photo #10: My cat again, what can you do 😁
And by his side, a shadow so grim,
Mr. Golden Skeleton, shining and slim.
With his golden bones and piercing eyes,
He’ll send you running, no room for lies.

They’ll haunt your dreams, they’ll make you pay,
For daring to challenge the games they play.
Together they rule with a chilling frown,
Snaily Claus and the Skeleton, coming to town!

Gm! We have $ETH on the 8-day timeframe. It has so far made 7 consecutive green candles but it is struggling to break above the resistance which is the candle closing high in Mar 2024. Momentum is certainly slowing a little and historically, $ETH has a tendency to take a breather after 6 or 7 consecutive green candles.

Random photo #9: Something random from a shoot in the desert somewhere near Dubai 🤷🏻‍♂️
I found a few photos from Constanța on my restored hard drive. Among them, there are even a couple of shots taken during a paragliding flight. As I mentioned, the place is absolutely stunning! But getting there by car is quite tricky — the road is good, but there are so many sharp turns that it really took a toll on the car tires. Thankfully, the car was a rental, so we didn’t have to pay for new tires, haha.

Anyway, while I’m trying to figure out what else to write, I seem to have lost my train of thought… You can go ahead and ask me anything you’re curious about 😊
second verse
...
Oh yeah,
Battles never cease,
Frozen hearts and shattered peace,
Wolves are howling through the night,
Shadows lurk beneath the trees.
Echoes of the war drums pounding,
Footsteps creeping 'cross the floor,
Stinky Northmen, rage igniting,
Knocking loudly at my door.

Random photo #8: Honestly, I don't remember what's in this photo. I like old architecture and I often take pictures of it, and then I forget where it is and what it is 😆
I managed to revive my old hard drive and transfer all its data to a new one, so now I have some extra photos from my time in the Dominican Republic. Most of them weren’t taken on a phone but with an actual camera. Unfortunately, some of the pictures were lost along with another hard drive during my moves, and some were destroyed thanks to someone’s clumsy hands (not mine, haha). So, out of nearly 3TB of photos and videos, I have about 0.7TB left—and not all of them are from the Dominican Republic. Maybe it’s not super exciting right now, but I’ll go through everything and see if there’s anything worth sharing.

As for the photo, it’s of some beautiful building from the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo. If I remember correctly, it was built in the mid-1800s.

I'll continue the story tomorrow, I hope there will be more photos from Constance.
For the sake of love and justice, I, the beautiful warrior snail - the name of the future Moon, will punish you! !attack north 🏴‍☠️🐌
Gm! New weekly candle close and let's take a look at $ETH again

After making the highest weekly candle close since Mar 2024 (above $3880), $ETH just minted a confirmation candle above it. This is not just any confirmation candle, but possibly a dragonfly doji which potentially suggests bullish continuation. If this week's candle closes green, it would be a confirmation for the dragonfly doji.

The momentum indicators are still looking healthy, so I think bullish continuation is likely
