when life hands you lessons you aren’t prepared for. 🫠😢
I have a terrible confession to make.
tonight while running errands driving in the snow, I was ruminating on how destructive light pollution is. especially for nocturnal animals.
and then a opossum wandered out in front of me suddenly.
sadly the opossum did not survive.
I’ve never even accidentally killed an animal. so it was a particularly traumatizing experience.
my self preservation instilled in me from my drivers training instructor 20+ years ago kicked in.
a reminder that 45 seconds can change your whole life. stay vigilant out there on the roads of life. 🫠🫶
