Some ppl who are in need of housing go to a hotel bc there’s no other option. Staying there means there’s no kitchen and no laundry. Everything takes more time and money.
Imagine working with the hotel manager to pay for a room for your family week to week instead of the customary “all in full and in advance”. Now think about falling behind and being one paycheck away from losing even this high priced option. Ponder on top of this being a single parent whose partner has recently died. Consider what it would be like if you had four kids. Now, add to all this your employer tells you he can’t pay you until next week.

The situation detailed in the X thread below is heartbreaking and completely avoidable. Many came to the person's aid and she discovered that she might be able to recover the lost tokens. However, plenty of people shamed and blamed her for the mistake.
I teach special education, specifically emotional behavior disability students. They'd rather be seen as "bad" or "misbehaving" instead of stupid. Admitting I don't know something is very humbling and at times humiliating.
Thank you to people like @jacque @pichi @geoffgolberg @0xt0ny @nikolaiii @ccarella @kenny @jacek @angelikakollin and many more who take the time to listen, understand, respond, and create tools so that we can all do better.

I keep trying to introduce the wallets to my students. Tomorrow will be attempt number 3. When I showed them that it was called a @rainbow wallet, the whole group of 12-14 yo boys refused based solely on the name. I thought about switching to @phantomwallet or @metamask. What do you all think?
