In case no one told you today:
You're not stuck because you aren't talented.
You're stuck because you're scattered.
You're not stuck because you aren't talented.
You're stuck because you're scattered.
As I was looking at photos from my "professional" days and comparing them to the pics when I was in a staring contest with a baby penguin...
I knew I made the right choice.
I may no longer be in front of the camera, but I am smiling even bigger.
Sometimes the scariest decisions lead to the most beautiful destinations.

Why do we keep pushing artists to create what sells— instead of what sets their soul on fire?
The best art comes from conviction, not calculation.
Truth
- Your unique vision is your superpower
- Your "weird" is someone else's wonderful
- The right audience will follow you when you're being real
Would Van Gogh's starry nights exist if he'd followed and copied his peers?

If you're an Artist who feels lost in the noise, unseen and unheard—this is for you.
We all have a calling,
a longing we were born to that makes our hearts beat faster.
But most people sleepwalk through life, settling into routines that lock them into predictable check boxes.
This is the Renaissance.
The time to listen to that calling is now

Traditional artists are fighting an impossible battle: speed vs skill.
Algorithms don’t care about your skills.
It wants your content—constantly.
But here's what keeps me going as a photographer:
I don’t take photos to feed the algos. I take photos to feed my soul.
The game has changed,
but the soul of art hasn't.
Are you creating for likes?
Or creating for life?

In 2018, I sold everything, bought a camera, and took a one way flight to Peru.
No plan, just a dream stuffed into a backpack.
People called me crazy.
Others called me fearless.
But here's the truth, the first 12 months were brutal.
Some nights I questioned everything and wanted to quit. Other nights I was pinching myself for I couldn't believe that this was my life.
Here's what nobody tells you about chasing dreams:
• Fear never goes away
• Doubt is a daily battle
• "Making it" will look different than you'll ever imagine
• Motivation will come and go, but purpose keeps you going.
To chase my dreams, I learned that courage isn't about being fearless.
It's about being scared and showing up anyway.
But the biggest lesson?
Your dreams don't need everyone's approval.
They just need YOUR commitment.

Stop trying to “be” perfect.
I learned this the hard way: The more I tried, the less people connected with me.
The moment I started sharing real struggles?
That's when people actually engaged.
Authenticity beats perfection every time.

This week I stepped out of my comfort zone and talked to strangers at a local event, and one thing stood out to me:
Most people sleepwalk through their 20s and 30s, settling into routines and relationships that lock them into a predictable life of check boxes.
But this is the time to break the rules.
Risks now cost less, but the rewards last forever.
So if no one told you today:
🎯Start a side hustle, start alll the side projects! even if they flop—they’re lessons.
🗺️Travel somewhere you’ve never been; you’ll grow more than you can imagine.
📈Invest in yourself: books, mentors, and experiences — they will change your trajectory exponentially.
💪🏻Take care of your health and fitness—workout not just your body muscles but your mental muscles, the creative muscles.
Because when you improve, your life improves.
Life is for living.
Don’t just exist.

For years, I thought no one cared about my photos.
I felt invisible and I started doubting my worth because of low engagement.
But I never stopped.
Not because the likes or comments didn’t matter, but because they weren’t the reason I created. I share my travel photos because they are the chapters in my memoir.
What viral culture makes us forget is that People are always watching.
📌 The takeaway?
✍🏻 Post your work.
💡 Share your ideas.
🎷 Keep showing up.
Because even when it feels like no one’s seeing you, your community is out there.
You just have to keep showing up so they can find you.

In case no one told you today:
• You don’t need more time;
you need fewer distractions.
• You don’t need motivation;
you need discipline.
• You don’t need more resources;
you need to be resourceful.
• You don’t need luck;
you need preparation.
• You don’t need to be busy;
you need focus.
• You don’t need all the answers;
you just need to start.
The things that are holding you back are often hidden beneath the noise of needing to “learn more to be more”.
But let me tell you a secret,
we all got the same 24 hours in a day. What makes someone better is how they use their 24 hrs.
So clear out your schedule, prioritize, stop listening to everyone and filling it with busy work, and stop procrastinating with excuses.
You are ready.
Sometimes, progress doesn’t come from having it all together —it comes from making the most of what you already have.

Art has to come from somewhere to go somewhere.
The truth is, the work that truly matters happens when no one is looking—it comes from the layers behind the smile and social media posts.
The unseen work that happens every day is what matters.
To create meaningful works of Art,
you have to live a meaningful life.
See, life as an Artist isn’t just about what you create—it’s about who you become in the process.

Just because you are tired, doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
Let’s be real—hustling, grinding, and showing up day after day is exhausting.
But tiredness is not failure—it’s feedback.
It’s a signal from your body and mind that you’re stretching, growing, and moving closer to something different.
Think about it.
Success isn’t found in the moments when everything feels easy.
It’s built in the times when you’re struggling to keep going despite the weight on your shoulders.
The truth is, feeling tired means you’re in the fight. You’re showing up. You’re doing the work. And sometimes, that’s enough.
Success isn’t about being unshakeable—it’s about resilience. It’s about honoring your effort, even when the results haven’t shown up yet.
So if you’re tired, take a moment. Rest, recalibrate, and get back to it.
The real failure? That’s in giving up when it gets tough.
And you’re tougher than you think.

We are all multifaceted beings.
Often, people latch onto the version of us they find most convenient or familiar,
and when we reveal the other dimensions of who we are, it disrupts their expectations.
But that discomfort isn’t ours to manage—don’t take how others respond as the standard of your worth.. it’s a reflection of their limited views of you.
Embracing our complexity is a quiet rebellion against being boxed in and a declaration of our right to be multidimensional and complex humans.

In case no one told you today,
It’s time to start living the life you've always imagined.
In 2019, I was sitting in a dark cubicle with my supervisor telling me to stick to the script instead of talking to clients like a human... and it hit me:
I wasn’t climbing the corporate ladder to success —I was running on a treadmill in the trenches.
Here's the hard truth they don't want you to know:
Life isn’t about following someone else’s roadmap;
it’s about creating your own.

It’s been a hot sec as I have been dealing with life- but some thoughts about all the pain us artist feel as we battle the algos and fomo

If your motives are pure, you won’t be bothered when people question them.
Every time i see this post, it takes my breath away.

Sometimes life feels a bit like this, but it gets better. Today is suicide prevention day and I want to tell you that you matter. If you ever need someone to chat with I am here <3
Today has been an epic fail from the moment I opened my eyes, but that's alright. There's always another chance to make it better tomorrow.
I miss the sense of real community I had pre-COVID. I feel like things might never be the same again.
Gonna touch some grass today and enjoy the great weather! Welcome to September friends :)
This weekend has felt a little bit like trying to breathe underwater. But we keep moving and keep pushing forward.
I honestly believe that we are all connected, and in a way, we are all one. I hope your week is going well <3
