Warren Buffet's run is legendary.
One of my idols. Warren is the reason why I had an inclination to the financial markets.
My father introduced me to the stock markets when I was 13, not knowing much or showing inclination at the time, the only reason it was introduced to me is because Warren started dabbling in stocks when he was just 11 years old, and I already considered myself late at 13 at the time.

base batches #001: day 1. we're building in public.

I was looking at castmoney traders leaderboard and found this massive W by @jatjee

some stats & insights from week 1 of launch:
• conversion funnel is leaky: 4,689 views → 2,678 token page visits → 960 cashin reached → 138 success. that’s ~2.9% conversion from view to mint. not bad, but not great. making $10k from this would require ~$2mn of txn. not happening in bear at least.
• frame is sticky: 442 added vs 8 removed. people like embedding it. this is our growth vector.
• rageclicks + fails = UX debt: 140 rageclicks vs 143 fails. almost 1:1. this is a clear signal that something’s broken or confusing at the cashin step. we ran into some bugs that got fixed.
• notifications work: 294 clicks from notifications. we're doubling down on this.
• autocapture is high: people are exploring, but not always converting. maybe the frame is too passive or not guiding action well.

miniapps coming to coinbase wallet shortly - distribution is #1 priority

I've found verifications to be a bit limiting as someone who's non-technical.
I don't use GitHub and haven't used Linkedin in forever.
Think canonical social platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok would go a long way here.
Would also like a more dedicated space to view and explore Trending Tokens beyond pages.
If I want to see the most popular tokens on Farcaster over the last 1h, 24h where do I go?

there are 93 tokens (out of 888) that have given a 50%-1000% profit since entering 15m hot tokens list on the /castmoney frame [launch tmrw]
avg. daily ROI [while you're afk, sleeping] when auto buying a hot token as soon as it enters 15m chart w SL at 25% [and batched selling till 500% profit] = 9%. daily.
we'll make u so much money god damn

unless u stick to the idea that big tech gets dethroned in the next decade
which i want. but is unlikely. blockchain is outside in,; ai is inside out [aggresive funding, institutions adopting/innovating]
you’re best left w stake like products to on-ramp the silk road esque usecase crypto found its initial normie adoption in

- warpcast has integrated social graphs x wallets & will continue to find promise in this direction. moving away from native experience to castmoney is high friction for users.
- we ran into engg. issues in loops; it was an internal failure wrt to first principles & wrong approaches
- indexing all addresses' is a lot of compute + costs, and we weren't able to derive enough ROI from it
- all while, our biggest win has been growing our treasury to 7 figure through castmoney (although selling right, is the skill we've honed)
- trading platforms draw the biggest of vols in crypto, but 95% platforms push through 5% of the vol, we realised it's a losing battle unless u have insane distribution or leverage to be in the top 5% of trading platforms
- with that said, 'hot tokens' on castmoney is where user's are finding alpha, and we're doubling down on it (amongst other experiments)
