I could list so many people in that “treated me like a peer” (@downshift.eth @brianjckim @nbragg @tldr @div @kia @jpetrich gahhh I could go on) and i want to emphasize that a big part of that is also the honest, critical vibe cultivated on Farcaster in general among, well, peers!
That last part was probably most formative for me. I admired what lots of people here did, and it made me when want to go harder. Still does. And then when I tried - and when I failed - that energy was met enthusiastically and with encouragement. Criticism most often delivered gracefully and with care, always followed by encouragement.
One such moment was after I launched proxyswap with the fbi crew we had some attention and buzz and Woj reached out just saying: love what you’re doing, what can I do to help?
I didn’t actually know what to ask at the time (learned from that) but the offer meant a lot just at a personal level.
All of which is to say: this network is rich and full. Give generously, and it will return

castmoney v0.1 update:
- we've been materially successful in solving a personal problem, but not a product problem
- warpcast has integrated social graphs x wallets & will continue to find promise in this direction. moving away from native experience to castmoney is high friction for users.
- we ran into engg. issues in loops; it was an internal failure wrt to first principles & wrong approaches
- indexing all addresses' is a lot of compute + costs, and we weren't able to derive enough ROI from it
- all while, our biggest win has been growing our treasury to 7 figure through castmoney (although selling right, is the skill we've honed)
- trading platforms draw the biggest of vols in crypto, but 95% platforms push through 5% of the vol, we realised it's a losing battle unless u have insane distribution or leverage to be in the top 5% of trading platforms
- with that said, 'hot tokens' on castmoney is where user's are finding alpha, and we're doubling down on it (amongst other experiments)

This is some bs. Geoff has been one of the most helpful people I’ve found on the purple app. He has invested a lot of time on the network, and has onboarded a bunch of quality users to Farcaster
