Finally updated my personal site. Ended up going with a Rust SSG called Zola.
It’s a single binary, “Just Works,” and is super fast to deploy.
I used to use NextJS but a workflow package was deprecated, which finally pushed me over the edge to go zero dependencies forever.

Content has a shelf life, and most folks in tech/crypto/AI aren't modeling this space with a time decay function.
Content creators, conversely, are keenly aware of how quickly the feed moves and attention disappears.
One day you're hot, the next you're not.
I can see this gap clearly, and that’s why I'm struggling with the execution of some of these content coins. There's very little discussion around managing the life of the piece itself relative to the initial market making.
The worst thing we can do is introduce a moral hazard by creating token systems that reward initial hype but fail to incentivize the ongoing work required to maintain relevance. It sets unrealistic expectations about the sustainable value of content and misaligns creator incentives.

I wish I had a strong opinion on content coins. How you execute the playbook here matters a ton, and I think that is what people are reacting strongly to.
The only thing I care for is creators making a living off their art and content.
Are creators achieving that? No? You got more work to do.

Agentic AI for productive people is like crystal meth.
Tired of learning. Only want to do. Rewrote wholesale four codebases. If someone shows me a shiny thing to learn I might breakdown and cry. Fried out of my mind. Seen enough.

It's easier for me to think of identity as a byproduct of anonymity. We all start out with anonymity and inherit an identity.
If we start with identity from the frame of anonymity, we get very different questions about autonomy. Instead of asking "who am I?" we start asking, "what do you know about me?"

So apparently Steve Irwin’s son Robert Irwin did an underwear shoot for People magazine?
I was available/free. Why didn’t they call me smh

There is no such thing as hard work in tech. There is only deep work. Do deep work early and you will exhaust yourself in ways hard work never would.
Deep work compounds and compounds and compounds.. Left, right, up, down. Every day gets easier to communicate. People learn from you and tell others your story.

We have a principal wallet problem coming in consumer crypto via embedded wallets/app wallets/smart wallets/AI agents/convolution with atomic signers.
It’s worse than the prosumer wallet apps today that facilitate your EOAs because you need humans in the loop for the bulk of support.

Here's the plan:
1. Congressman Jerry Nadler (D-NY12) is 77
2. He retires after 17 terms
3. I live in NY-12
4. I run for his seat
5. Win NY-12
6. Finally Top 10 Warpcast Rewards after everyone celebrates the 2nd Congressman on Farcaster

My ideal social network:
1. zk first so that data and privacy coexist and people can express themselves freely.
2. Media-heavy to share the largest amount of information fastest.
3. Onchain composable.
4. Status-as-a-service is expected and users demand proof of work in many areas within their communities.

The Solana commercial is regrettably tone deaf. I’ve had way more fun in this space supporting all the diverse characters that feel empowered by crypto. Including you, if you’re reading this.
Open to everyone is the story I tell folks outside the apps, and it’s what makes me excited for the future here.

I could have bought Bitcoin or stocks when Ethereum launched in 2015, but by investing in this magic programmable money, I gained exposure to technology that revolutionizes how value moves through the world. Life becomes a bit more colorful.
It opens an exponential number of doors that traditional money keeps closed..

Our winter building strategy:
1. Make everything optional. Every framework, every language, every protocol, every vendor. YAGNI.
2. Remove arguments. Can’t be rugged, can’t be limited, etc.
3. Get real. No hype.
4. Don’t get stuck.
5. Dig DEEP.
6. Following rules kills creativity and slows high performers.

These slip-ons are actually super comfortable. I got influenced somewhere on social media and figured I’d test drive them since I needed new house shoes.
8.3/10, solid buy 👍

I've noticed a few comments about ETHDenver being dead this year. I think what's really happening is we're seeing a growing inequality between the big teams and the floor projects.
There are many respectable, product-led protocols with conference budget now, e.g. EigenLayer, Uniswap, Coinbase/Base, and so on. At the same time, we're seeing fewer talented outfits racing to find product-market fit. Hacking has become a side event comparatively to my last attendance at ETHGlobal NYC.
Outside of ETHDenver, the meta has shifted from "first to market" to "best at market." Teams can't just be scrappy — they need to be focused with time here if they want to get noticed and attention moves toward organized side events.
It's not better or worse, just different. The ecosystem is growing up, and the conference circuit is changing with it.

The best work you can do is the work your peers wish they could themselves.
Feels like folks are underestimating how quiet the world has gotten recently.
Very spooky.

Told my family at dinner that microplastics live rent free in your brains. Came back an hour later and all the chopping boards are gone.
This is how we win lmao.
