Background: After Disney, Apple and other advertisers left Twitter (this was at some point in 2023) I man named Noah and myself made a $100 bet. He said that Apple and Disney would return as advertisers by the end of 2024 and I disagreed. At some point this year Disney did return and started making paid advertisements (marked as Ad) on the platform. In the last couple months Tim Cook made 1+ (not sure how many as I only looked at the first one) tweets shilling Apple products but no official Apple account itself purchased a paid advertisement.
The debate: Noah says since Tim Cook is the CEO of Apple and he is talking about an Apple product in this tweet(s) that this counts as Apple advertising on Twitter. I say that Tim Cook doesn't == Apple and that a non paid Tweet is not an ad. Are these 1+ tweets by Tim Cook considered Apple returning to Twitter and advertising?
