Went to a surprise engagement party at a fancy oceanfront hotel last night and couldn’t shake the feeling that one of us was going to die… thanks a lot, White Lotus.
I started watching this for the first time last night.

Speaking of which … Mike White said next season he’d prefer no beaches … my money is on Switzerland (pun intended). Any other guesses?
White Lotus Season 3 was so refreshingly slow loved that), but if you’re gonna do that - you gotta have the finale payoff feel worth it.
Biggest indictment of the season is that the most memorable scene was a throwaway speech by a non-essential character (Sam Rockwell).
The Russian arc had zero closure. The Darth Vader/Oedipus moment was too obvi and cliche. Belinda flipping felt contrived. Ratliffs had us wanting more (but not in a good way).
Still enjoyed it and looking forward to next season.

I loved how much they fed foreshadowing through Chelsea.
Stuff like “If a bad thing happens to you, it happens to me” and “Bad luck comes in threes” tells the story before it happens and they hide it by having the astrology girl say it. Genius

more white lotus yin/yang: belinda & gaitok now carrying big weights after going against their core values, even if on surface they’re better off. in parallel, ratliff fam is stronger, weights lifted but going home to a surface shitshow. same w/jaclyn & pals, to a lesser degree
Kinda lowkey sad at pipuuuhhhrrrs timeline. Thought she would be more headstrong, and, like, she's from NC. Thai humidity isn't that much worse.

This season was very exciting at the start but sort of limped to a finish with that chaotic ending. Feels like it peaked with the Full Moon party and it could have ended 2 episodes earlier.
Ratcliffe family was def the most entertaining with Patrick Schwarz being the breakout star. Happy for Belinda. The best part of Rick's storyline was Chelsea + Frank's scenes. I like Walton Goggins but didn't really enjoy Rick's arc.

Honestly my expectations bout season 3 finale weren't met. The tension built throughout the season ruined due to the events unfolded in a too predictable way.
All in all, another classy series, with amazing cast and beautiful imagery. Season 4 is imminent by the looks of it
