gazers 🌝

A place to discuss, observe and admire the Gazers collection by Matt Kane. https://gazers.art/

Lunation #36 kicks off with a ring of fire solar eclipse celebration

Check the threaded casts below each day to see how this new moon evolves 📝
New moon time 🌚

Eager to see how the 35th lunation of Gazer #196 evolves

This time tomorrow the lingering Blue Moon zoom should be no more and a new pattern should emerge

Everyday until the next new moon I'll add a daily update of this living artwork to a threaded reply chain below 📸 ⛓️
The new moon aka the 34th lunation of Gazer #196 begins 🌑

What colors will dominate? Will it contain any celebrations?

Just as I did with the previous lunation (that you can peruse in the quoted cast), I'll document the evolution of Gazer #196 by posting daily captures in a threaded reply chain📝⛓️
New moons on equator gazers always start with a faint Cheshire grin

Excited to see how the neon green, yellow, and what appears to be a lipstick red border evolve with lunation #33

Note: Daily updates will be added as threaded replies from here on out
Happy 4th of July Gazer shot 🎇

Next cast will be a New Moon 🌚
Flew into Seoul and skipped a whole lunation day (since Asia is living in the future)

New Moon imminent 🌚
Quote casting everyday def aint it 😅 but also there's something to the linked chain of dailes imo

Think doing linked reply-casts to once a new moon main casts starting from the next new moon (7/5) may be a better approach for a more subdued, low key channel like /gazers
After 7 days of posting in /gazers I have no idea if many more folks will start posting daily Gazer shots here, but even if not, I'm still excited to see how the emergent chain of dailies - public timestamps and all - will turn out over time
Still (summer Saturday) night
Gotta love the symmetry of this third quarter moon 🌗
A third quarter moon (which is the official moon phase name for what I will continue to call a 'half moon') is slated to appear tomorrow

Until then, Gazer #196 will continue its rounded waning until it turns into my third favorite phase after the full and new moon phases
Equator Gazer #196 in its midnight phase on 6/26
Some Gazers (like #196) look so different during their day phase compared to evening and midnight phases

Living art, like Gazers by @mattkane, draws you back over and over

Every single second sees a new petal fall off and float away, never to be seen again

You can't catch every falling petal - but one a day, that's doable

Here's to starting a new streak sharing a few frames of Gazers #196 once a day in /gazers 🌙
