Would hate to see these kinds of experiences become swallowed by Meta / inevitably Ticketmaster but they still feel like the future nonetheless

the Apple Vision Pro was nothing more than a goggle version of the iPhone. it had a \momentary\ lil short minute in fashion when it first launched, but it didn’t even really last as a fashion statement.

The Oculus can be used for *REAL* gaming, painting, consuming 360* media, but most importantly for me: it simplified the 3D modeling process. I know a few of car & product designers currently using Gravity Sketch to design cars & sneakers.

Apple vision pro provides no tactical or beneficial use that improves anything...? the best Apple product on the market right now is the headphones. that has longevity. i knew the Vision Pro would be a flop the minute i tried it on and realized it literally doesn’t do anything profound?
when i first tried on my Oculus, i literally lost my mind. it truly was the mind blowing, i need to fall back in love with my oculus.

I love my Vision Pro for flights but the size makes it a tough choice for short 1 hour flights :/

I haven't been to a Connect event since the first Oculus Connect in 2014. Got to meet Palmer, hear one of John Carmack's deep dives, watched Palmer jump into a pool and eat a Rift shaped cake, and tried the Crescent Bay Prototype.
So much has changed. Looking forward to being back at Meta Connect in 2 weeks!

@rev I want to post more VR stuff on FC. Currently you're mod of /vr so casts don't make it to main if you don't like them. Can you remove yourself as mod so priority mode can do it's thing or add an automated mod like @botornot or whatever tool you prefer?
