I act like I'm fine but deep down, I want to build an app that can collect fees.
As someone that likes to code way more than all this degen-ing and trading shit, the dream is to build an app that can collect that sweet 0.5% fees or even 0.1% without needing to do any VC-ing or working with investors. Just solo or small team
Of course, it's going to be a lot of work and thinking to even make the app people care to use. Then finding a way to monetize is another big problem on it's own. Could take a long time, if ever, to start earning something.
If you're already working on something like that (i.e small team, little or no raises, PMF found, raking little fees here and there, earning more than enough to keep building the app). Congratulations, you're already living my dream

Randomly thinking about how the law profession can be very weird.
Imagine a murder case.
The defendant hires a lawyer, we'll call him `Croth`. The plaintiff hires Lorenzo.
The defendant is guilty but it needs to be proven. Croth, being a good lawyer, asks for the entire truth from their client. Their client confesses to him knowing it should all be protected under lawyer-client priviledge.
Croth then goes behind and talks to Lorenzo. Taking some bribe to give information that would actually make the case proven.
In court, Lorenzo would now present the case like he made those findings and in the end Croth begs from lighter sentence for their client.
Even though Croth orchestrated the whole thing, no one can prove he did, well except Lorenzo. And if he also cannot reveal the truth as there's a huge chance the evidences would be inadmissible and the case re-opened.
In the end the only one that loses is the defendant which btw thought lighter sentence was a good work by Croth.

Rainbow feature suggestions:
1. A way to hide tokens so they don't count on the total.
2. A way to lock wallet with face Id.
Currently, all tokens count but I'd like "hidden" tokens to not count. This is doable on uniswap wallet and I use it often. Maybe you buy a token and want to `hold` but it can be depressing when it's going down. I don't want to have to see it. Oh you have a token that's not really sell-able. I don't also want to have to see it
The face Id on is on security. I'd like to be the only person that can open the wallet. Yes there's face Id to transactions which is cool but I don't even want initial access in the first place

In the web3 space, I don't understand why people `borrow`.
In my experience using some of these platform. You have to provide 200% collateral on one currency to borrow another. And if you cannot repay, you risk forfeiture.
In physical world, the reason you have collateral is you still own it. Imagine selling you stock or car to purchase something. You can not simply buy it back. But in crypto, isn't it better to just convert your 500k USDC to WETH and than borrow 500K WETH while locking 1M USDC as collateral.
What am I missing here?
