Including my own 'The Abyss Gazes Back'
"The Abyss Gazes Back" is a based on a concept derived from Friedrich Nietzsche's philosophy, particularly from his quote, "He who fights with monsters should be careful lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you." It suggests that when confronting darkness, chaos, or moral challenges, individuals risk being consumed or transformed by those very forces. The phrase emphasizes the potential for internal change or corruption when one engages deeply with destructive or malevolent elements.

Somnambulist
In midnight's shroud, somnambulist roams,
Through veils of dreams, a realm unknown,
Reality's grip, a tenuous thread,
Perception's dance, in moonlight spread.
In slumber's realm, the mind takes flight,
Yet tangled in the web of night,
The sleepwalker roams, both lost and free,
A fleeting bridge 'twixt what is and could be.
Oh, elusive truth, in shadows cast,
Do waking eyes see the world's depth vast?
Somnambulist's journey, a whispered plea,
To fathom the realms where reality's key.

The first in a new series is now available on objkt.
The Human Kaleidoscope series is a vivid and surreal exploration of human identity, consciousness, and our relationship with the cosmos. This collection dives deep into the complexity of human existence, presenting distorted, multi-layered figures that challenge conventional notions of self. Each piece in the series showcases human-like forms composed of intricate patterns, and organic shapes, symbolizing the fragmented nature of modern identity in a hyperconnected world.
The recurring motif of multiple eyes, serve as metaphors for heightened awareness, perception, and the multiplicity of perspectives we carry as individuals. These eyes look both inward and outwardβreflecting the dual nature of introspection and the observation of the external world. The eyes represent the many ways we see ourselves, others, and the universe, hinting at the blurred boundaries between the microcosm of human life and the macrocosm of the cosmos.
