I can't believe they announced a future date for snapshot. I guess they could still have some sort of criteria like being active for x amount of days/weeks/months, but it still feels like they're encouraging whales to swoop in and farm more marks to dilute regular users.
I didn't really farm marks since I knew I wouldn't be able to compete, but I did go on a badge frenzy recently. Now I'm wondering if activity will count at all.
I wonder what would've made them announce it this way. They have to know they're encouraging people to deposit more for a few days and then withdraw. That's not really healthy for their ecosystem.
