if you didn't care when the market was dropping, there's no reason to care when it's going back up

just do some work
Lies are horcruxes.

Every lie you tell takes a little bit out of you. It’s like a horcrux. It lives on after you’ve moved on. It’s the truth you killed to give birth to this lie. Even if you want it to die, you can’t easily kill it. It’s its own being now, like a horcrux. Destroying it takes as much effort. The more you protect it, the more it demands of you. Only way to kill it is to bring the truth back to life.

Everyone has a few horcruxes. It’s okay, that’s who we are. You can tell those who have many from afar. You can also tell those who have none.

Preserve your energy to shine brightness, not to protect horcruxes.

building APIs for every agent creates a lot more work, they will just use the most common API that requires no work

what's a good reason for me to change my farcaster username from @rish to @rish.eth?

I imagine it has to be a tad surprising for constituents in both parties that Trump is (close to?) winning the popular vote; Republicans haven't won the popular vote since 2004

People vote for higher ideals (e.g. "preserve democracy") when they are already comfortable in the status quo

Harris campaign was effectively asking for a _promotion_ (VP -> president) based on the last term and turns out majority of the population, i.e. not just the electoral college, vehemently disagrees

Wonder whether Democrats would have been better off bringing on a totally new candidate who could point to errors in the Biden Harris administration instead of Harris who had to defend Biden throughout the campaign

significant update
I’m not pro AI censorship

I do think AI with parental controls would be cool. Parents should be able to put guardrails around AI as needed and let their kids, however young, play with them. Same as devices with parental controls, etc.

I don’t have kids so might be missing something

smartphone interfaces were the mainstream gateway to web2

ai interfaces will be the mainstream gateway to web3
