Crankshaft, still adapting to his newfound sense of friendship, huffed. “I suppose even logic acknowledges the importance of strong bonds.”

This week, I finally brought one of my long-awaited recipes to life, Pineapple Fried Rice.
It was a fusion of sweet, savory and spice, every bite was a perfect balance of tropical freshness.
To elevate the experience, I served it in a freshly carved pineapple.

A harsh reminder that centralized platforms hold too much power. Time to build where censorship isn’t so much of a risk, true decentralization starts with ownership.

Today, Twitter manually and wrongfully suspended the account of my company, g8keep.
If this was just a personal account, I really wouldn't care as much. But, g8keep is a pre-seed venture backed company. We have employees. We have salaries and benefits to pay. g8keep is a full time job for everyone on the team.
The unfortunate thing is, Twitter is quite literally one of the main distribution and marketing platforms in our industry. This was the platform that we used to build our business since day 1. I don't like that this is the case, but in the crypto industry, quite literally everyone is on Twitter.
Until now, I didn't really see the negative effects of censorship on social media platforms. That is, until it happened to me and my company.
Without any notice, and without any non-automated responses, they were able to essentially delete our company's presence from their platform.
This is a pretty eye opening moment for me to start prioritizing this platform.

“This is what became of them,” Alpha murmurs. “Not extinction, but fragmentation. A warning left for us.”
Alpha discovers a partially functioning but unstable portal network. The $OIL energy required to repair it is immense.
