If I was a republican congressman, I would refuse to sign this “big bullshit bill” unless it also included a provision rescinding the presidents emergency tariff powers. None of them will actually have the balls to do it, but it would be a good move.

It seems clear as day to me that the stock market and most other risk assets are going much lower. The last 15 years of investing has been easy mode for people. You could just buy the dip and you’d be alright. I think that’s about to change…
Bitcoin might be alright if it continues to gain ground with the digital gold/store of value narrative. But I think tech stocks with huge valuations and crypto coins with giant market caps are going much lower still.

It’s absolutely fucking insane to punish businesses for importing from China while simultaneously bailing out other businesses that were exporting to China. Both were doing business with China, why are we only punishing the importers?
