it's crazy, because on one hand the sacrifice is intensely worth it. but on the other hand the sacrifice feels like a lot--to say the least. ineffable: the love I feel for my son. but, jamming on hobbies for hours at a time in the evenings? it's just not possible anymore right? do you see that as one of the sacrifices?

Having the roughest day I’ve had in a while, so it occurred to me to try to practice some gratitude. Grateful for:

1. my son who’s almost two who makes me excited to grow old knowing how much time we’ll have together
