Today in @proxyswap land we...
1. added WETH as a "suggested token" to proxyswap[dot]tips swap (sourcing a better logo - will add tomorrow)
2. fixed bug showing incorrect follower counts on proxyswap[dot]social
3. fixed swap modal balance bug
4. fixed profile/wallet balance loading issue
5. identified "top traders" issue and determined plan to replace current query
6. onboarded @ael-dev to work on several upcoming features
7. reviewed and ranked by priority all user feedback from .social launch
8. claimed protocol fees on DL3 weth/degen pool, deposited in fee safe
9. paid dev retainer for .social work, paid my own salary (big first! $1377, thanks to those who pushed me to do this)
and tonight I'll process token migration batch #5

proxyswap.tips frontend is back online, you can now swap DEGEN to WETH, provide LP, use Rivera to farm LP rewards, buy an ecosystem token like @jaadtips and explore DL3
for context, last month Airstack deprecated their hosted subgraph service for Degen Layer 3. Proxyswap moved to a self-hosted subgraph, but during a time when I was AFK, our subgraph stopped operating normally. We've migrated our subgraph @0xbhaisaab has put in place processes to ensure we are alerted immediately to any issues in the future.

We're still figuring out the issue - will be fixed by tomorrow. issue related to our self-hosted subgraph, which we spun up last month after Airstack deprecated their hosted service last month.
In the meantime, you can also swap using @rainbow browser or mobile wallets which incorporate our routers

TLDR: 12 users received duplicate distributions, 3747.70 $PROXY tokens were incorrectly distributed. 6 users have responded to my dms and each returned the full amount received in error, total of 2607 $PROXY returned at time of publication. Team is reviewing migration processes to avoid errors like this going forward.

Had a nice long swim yesterday afternoon and thought about stuff I’ve learned building on FC this year (context: bootstrapped, nontechnical founder)
- building clarifies
- have found conflicts between following conventional wisdom & pursuing my own conviction. Balance!
- difficult (or personally stressful) part has been figuring out how to compensate devs & pay for operational costs. Short runway = more pressure, no salary = higher stakes
- talking users, listening & noting down all good feedback, even when I don’t have the resources to fix immediately, its made my eye better
- part of my job has been learning technical stuff, and that’s expanded how I think about the product & and what I want to build next
Over all, been incredibly fun, challenging, and I’ve grown from it. Grateful for the opportunity to grow in prod
