the work I've been quietly doing behind the scenes to carve out a future for the DAO, with active contributors taking leadership, me taking on a more high-impact, lower touch role, is formalizing. these changes are certainly subject to governance, and I'll be proposing what I see as the path forward in the coming week.

Proxyswap DAO is growing, transitioning in a few days
We are getting a proper legal entity
And are in talks with a lead developer to come in and iterate on our existing protocol contracts, expanding our existing products, shipping new ones on Degen Layer 3, Hamchain, Base

migrated 10,660 tokens for 41 users - almost done with this difficult task.
I no longer have bandwidth to handle Proxyswap DAO operations on my own, as I had in the three months prior to clanker launch.

Today marks the beginning of the end! Experiment has been highly successful and we've gathered a bunch of data that will be useful for implementing a further iteration in the future.
Step 1. I locked up the 1555 "creator mint" tokens on mint club, pool on proxyswap will be LPed until friday
Step 2. test_degen_dollar holders can either burn tokens for DEGEN on mint club, or swap for USDC on @proxyswap - please note that USDC has a 7 day bridge delay on @decentdao
Step 3. throughout this week I'll dm individual holders and make sure they are aware of the closure of the experiment - no user will be left behind
Step 4. By friday, I'll fully close the mint club and proxyswap pools. If any holder has not migrated by then I'll pay them out personally at market rate
Step 5. I have a dashboard of holders to use for a very special surprise on launch of USDegen
Will publish a report on Friday sharing data from the experiment! If you participated, thank you for supporting DL3!

I still can only do small swaps on ProxySwap but when they work it‘s nice, I like changing Moxie into USDC to fund little raffles.

We’ll turn this mini project into a template for projects to create swap frames with custom output token, logo, name + symbol + branding colors, design elements)

1. added WETH as a "suggested token" to proxyswap[dot]tips swap (sourcing a better logo - will add tomorrow)
2. fixed bug showing incorrect follower counts on proxyswap[dot]social
3. fixed swap modal balance bug
4. fixed profile/wallet balance loading issue
5. identified "top traders" issue and determined plan to replace current query
6. onboarded @0xael.eth to work on several upcoming features
7. reviewed and ranked by priority all user feedback from .social launch
8. claimed protocol fees on DL3 weth/degen pool, deposited in fee safe
9. paid dev retainer for .social work, paid my own salary (big first! $1377, thanks to those who pushed me to do this)

proxyswap.tips frontend is back online, you can now swap DEGEN to WETH, provide LP, use Rivera to farm LP rewards, buy an ecosystem token like @jaadtips and explore DL3
for context, last month Airstack deprecated their hosted subgraph service for Degen Layer 3. Proxyswap moved to a self-hosted subgraph, but during a time when I was AFK, our subgraph stopped operating normally. We've migrated our subgraph @0xbhaisaab has put in place processes to ensure we are alerted immediately to any issues in the future.

We're still figuring out the issue - will be fixed by tomorrow. issue related to our self-hosted subgraph, which we spun up last month after Airstack deprecated their hosted service last month.
