My draft this week was about the idea for Pollen DAO

A research and development DAO for cross pollination with copilot agents across onchain communities

This year I let go of trying to find the "right" thing to be doing. My last full-time job was 18 months ago, and since then I've been doing a mix of contracts & projects – but during most of that time I had been putting pressure on myself to figure out what the next move was.

It's like I had a spiritual muscle that was tensed for so long it forgot how to relax. By letting go, I've been able to make more room for serendipity, or as I wrote recently, "space for my soul to breathe and wander." https://warpcast.com/markfishman/0x61c626fc

At some point, I will rekindle my inner ambition. But I’m in a different season right now.

This week I wrote a casual diary-style entry for recording my first glance at Bangkok during Devcon7, mainly about bkk, didn't mention anything about Devcon 😃
This month for First Draft Club, I wanted to experiment with a lightweight way of incentivizing people to write.

December is a great month for reflection. So for each week this month, anyone on Farcaster who quote casts the weekly reflection prompt from @firstdraftclub will be eligible to win $5
(First one attached here:
https://warpcast.com/firstdraftclub.eth/0x3e7da831)

The regular accountability program will keep running – I'm just opening up a new way to participate and earn :)

Going home to stay with your parents is always an experience. Old patterns sneakily emerge, as if part of you was sucked through a time machine.

My parents moved houses when I was in college, so it’s not my childhood home, but I spend Thanksgiving in the same town I grew up in. It’s a small, wooded town, only 30 minutes from a major city but more rural than suburban.

Besides a path through a nearby forest, there’s nothing I can walk to. Part of the reason I wanted to live in New York was how trapped I felt as a teenager, needing to drive 20 minutes to see anyone or do anything. I swear against owning a car; my parents built an additional garage.
