Our app builder is starting to look so fucking clean!

Going to launch this to the public next Monday. Get stoked for building apps faster than you've ever experienced

Yeah thats going to be an "im immediately so in" situation thanks
it is *shocking* to me how poorly spotify desktop is designed. I am utterly confused what their designers are thinking.

I use it nearly everyday, and yet could not tell you what these buttons did. This is but one example, every screen has such affordances
i hate politics so much

hard to describe how much of a turnoff it is to me to see otherwise smart people become absolute morons because of partisanship

similar reasons why i could never stand religious people

wish the world had more rationals and less emotionals
Very inspired by spaceX

I love engineering and technology so much, the future is going to be awesome
Rabois but he moved back
Been talking with a lot of engineers recently about using AI editors.

A trend is emerging: if you are proficient with the LSP and know shortcuts to navigate and have a good typing speed, using AI is a net negative.

The micro-interruptions, the http latency, and the inaccuracy is just worse.

So truly AI for coding seems to be a floor raiser, without touching the ceiling much

Me CTO is fostering a dog and he’s hanging out with us at the office.

12/10 a very good boi
Sick design, love it
These kids are finalists of the OpenAI hackathon presenting in front of Sam (bottom right) and drop: “sorry to say this but yeah we’re really excited about open source and betting on that”

I cannot describe the tension, everyone laughing nervously, Sam did not
I’ve been very busy so haven’t really paid attention to the channels changes.

Seems I can’t post in a bunch of them. How do I “apply to become a member”? I can’t find a flow for it
I'm at this hackathon organized by openai

AI app builder making lots of progress. Prompt here is "build a reddit clone" (thats it). The app works one-shot

Imagine if most people were able to converse like this (read Palmer responses) https://x.com/kirbywinfield/status/1843831136675606677?s=46

Doesn’t matter who you agree with, non aggressive debate is just so good I wish there was more of it
believe it or not i rarely have had to deal with XML and today was the first time i learned about CDATA.
Lost ~1h a little pissed off

people that are very partisan 🚩🚩🚩🚩

(wanted to cast in /politics but not a member)
Nice gift from a company I gave a talk at
Cloud problems, clock problems.

Interesting framing. Example: rockets is a clock problem and social networks are cloud problem.

devs: do you use v0 or replit agent or claude artifacts?

I want to chat with you, respond to this cast or DC me. I'll give you early access to our version to thank you!

Today both stackblitz and OpenAI announced products very similar to what we’re building at Srcbook 😅
