Why are risk-on earnings good for creators?
Do you think the Zora concept can and should scale to millions of creators?
Would you expect someone to regularly gamble with their paycheck, or are we just considering all this creator stuff low stakes gambling anyway?
Is creator just a more elegant word for shitcoiner?
Why should we onboard billions and offer them more gambling than they're already exposed to across all social vectors?
How might this affect the mental health of society?
Are we taking any of this seriously?
I don't get it. I was baffled by Rodeos pivot for a moment, but it makes way more sense at this stage than Zora; For scaling to the vast majority who don't understand crypto, and for instilling confidence in creators that they will keep their earnings. (I'll get over the permanence of the art on this one.)

I don't get it. Problem:
Sometimes my artistic approach to interface/experiential web ideas feel too grand for mobile, but mobile is simply where people exist. (Also I'm a desktop maxi, sorry not sorry.)
Solution:
Psyopped myself into rethinking my approach to some UI elements by assuming that even on desktop, your interaction tool (the cursor, not pictured) is forced to be much larger than normal. With this in mind, the accessibility/visibility of something as simple as a link must align with this change. Now the desktop assets become naturally more compatible with mobile. As a bonus, the large cursor adds a unique and memorable layer to the desktop experience (not just for development purposes). 😉

This thing was a boat and drove like it, but felt truly luxurious as a first car. It was like hanging out in a small living room filled with velvet furniture. Paid $1000 for it in a driveway deal. Unfortunately it only lasted a year before the wheel bearings started giving out.

When Zora and Rodeo say the art is still 'onchain', what do they mean?
The way onchain is defined has already been diluted in the last year or two. So what are we meant to assume about where the media is being stored?
It's definitely not actually on any chain, but is it even being pinned to ipfs or arweave?

Finding pixel perfect kerning to be a challenge.
Mostly about trusting yourself to know what looks best and having the patience to test over and over vs actual difficulty. (Okay, and FontForge crashes semi-regularly on Win11)
Additionally, I found last week that small changes to some glyphs that I previously thought were final, helped create better balance within many words vs relying on kerning. (Extending the bars and/or terminals on f, i, j, l, and t.)
It's likely that I'll get this to a spot that feels right within the context of the site we're building, then continue work on kerning as I'm able, before making this publicly available.

It's tough attempting to execute long term creation goals amongst structures and entities that are focused on accelerating bite sized content + micro-markets.
Not saying these structures don't leave space for other types of creation, but my point is that essentially even if you spend six months on a project, you increasingly have the same window of opportunity as a coined content post to catch attention. (A day, a few hours?)
Don't get me wrong, it's still on me the creator to make something worthy of the attention I desire and require for surviving in a creator economy. That said, the ongoing meta has me feeling like a boomer for wanting to create larger experiences with co-conspirators.
