1/6 At the end of 2021, I wanted an astronaut PFP, so I decided to make one myself. I designed the base and then dressed it as an astronaut. That same year, using the same base, @thaisvaz created an entire collection. It was a three-month project we worked on just for fun, while caring for a very sick cat, unable to leave the house, not even for groceries.

On a cold spring night, I set out to capture a time-lapse of Mount Fuji. As I stood by the lake, a few swans wandered gracefully around me, their calm presence grounding the stillness of the moment.
I hadn’t expected it to be this cold — I had brought only a single layer, and the chill crept into my bones. The only warmth came from a vending machine nearby, where I kept returning for small cups of hot coffee, holding them tightly in my hands as I waited for the time-lapse to unfold.
There was silence, stars, and the quiet dance of swans under the mountain’s shadow. That night, despite the cold, something about the scene made everything feel just right.

After a full day crossing the desert from San Pedro de Atacama to Antofagasta, I finally arrived at this colossal sculpture: the Mano del Desierto.
In the absolute silence of the night, under the most star-filled sky I’ve ever seen, I waited for the Milky Way to align perfectly behind the hand. And there, alone in the Chilean desert, I set up my camera, took a deep breath, and captured the shot.
This immense and surreal artwork seems to reach out to the cosmos — a solitary gesture in the emptiness of the desert, as if asking the stars for a sign.
It took hours of driving and waiting, but every second was worth it. Some places on Earth exist just to remind us how small we are…

25 years ago I was sitting with my cousins on a small farm where I still live today, and I saw a fireball crossing the sky and splitting into several parts, without a cell phone to take pictures, with time our memory fades but I'm happy to be able to reconstruct it using AI.

Across the Universe changed my life twice. The first time was when I took this photograph and photos of the Milky Way were not common. It went viral and appeared in several publications and made me quit my job to dedicate my life to photography. The second time was when I launched an NFT edition to help my kitten who lost part of her movement due to bad people and I had to spend US$ 15k to save her life.
