This week we shipped a new alpha build of Rune game launcher which includes game purchasing, a shopping cart system, royalty & payout management, refunds, user profiles, game profiles.
We’re getting very close to opening up the app for users! And still working on ironing out bugs around the download manager.

Let's talk about /gameplay!
I started /gameplay as an initiative to address a few gaps on Farcaster. The main goal was to create a dedicated space for gaming content creators and gamers to share their content. This way, they could connect, collaborate, and grow their audience within the Farcaster community.
Another key objective was to promote high-quality video content as a proof of concept. The idea was to demonstrate that Farcaster could support and grow video content independently, without relying on other platforms. By showcasing compelling video content, we aim to attract more creators and viewers, enhancing the overall content diversity on Farcaster.
Ultimately, the goal of /gameplay is to monetize the channel, similar to /memes. We want to reward content creators for their quality contributions, providing them with incentives to keep producing great content. Until we reach that point, /gameplay will be supported by /rune and the Rune Access Pass.
