We're excited to announce Art Blocks Marfa Weekend is returning October 16-19, 2025. For four years, the high desert of West Texas has served as both canvas and catalyst for our community, and we're honored to continue this tradition in Marfa.
When & Where
The Weekend begins Thursday, October 16th with check-in and welcome events. We'll have two full days of programming on Friday and Saturday, followed by farewells Sunday morning. Marfa, located in the heart of far West Texas, has been our host since 2021. Despite its small population of under 2000, the town has earned international recognition as a contemporary art destination, making it the perfect backdrop for our gathering of artists, collectors, and enthusiasts.

New year, new life update. I've made the bittersweet decision to move on from Art Blocks as it takes on a new direction and vision.
I'm proud of what we've built over the past couple years – especially with charting a new course for Curated with exhibitions like Bokeh and Poetics of the Infinite, successfully launching a fully on-chain Ranked Auction Minter, and overhauling the Creator Dashboard. It's been quite a journey that has gifted me lifelong friendships with artists and collectors I admire.
Holladay, you’ve made a lasting impression on me. Your partnership, craft, and incredible attention to detail made my time here truly special. You deserve your flowers, and I deeply appreciate you. Thank you to the Art Blocks team, the artists, and collectors for fostering a community where creativity thrives. I'm grateful to have built something alongside such passionate humans.

Everything needed to generate these works lives permanently on Ethereum. Using just a web browser and access to the blockchain, these artworks can be experienced exactly as intended, forever.
This achievement represents a fundamental shift in digital art preservation. Run your own generator, pin the UI to IPFS, or access directly from Ethereum—these works are now truly independent of any platform.
