How is this changing the financial system mate. Iβve been bringing payroll onchain without a bank as intermediary. Now what? No solution. @jessepollak is there anything on @base for this? Iβm sure you have reasons, but seems like a step backwards to bring the world onchain.

Yesterday I made a case for wallet providers to start working on in-wallet apps (and in-wallet app stores).
I think this is a necessary evolution to make crypto more mainstream by overcoming the UX limits that we all currently face as an industry with the current paradigm of "Wallets need to connect to app". The current paradigm works for power users and it can stay. But we need another order of magnitude of UX improvement to make crypto mainstream.
Let's flip this upside down and start working on a "Apps need to connect to wallets" paradigm π

If anyone using Coinbase be careful , some times these lead to temporarily shutdown exchange working , also there will be some panic .

I'll try to play the voice of mainstream here, because if I want to set up monthly buys for ETH on Base, I have to buy normal ETH and then bridge it to Base?
That would result in at least two more additional fees than necessary, which is especially frustrating considering that this is not any L2, but BASE!!!
It's so frustrating that the crypto world sometimes seems to have lost it's relation to money and that these fees are a huge roadblock to casual users.
