It was heartwarming to see such young minds enthusiastic about the tech space!
Talking to them about the opportunities Onchain through @base at the just concluded Based Africa Hack Day in Ghana was a walk in the park! We’ll definitely be doing more for them and also organizing more events like this to empower the next generation👌.
We didn't have the same opportunities when we were younger, so we're excited for initiatives like this📌.

In August, 2012, I lost a neighbor who just put to bed due to wrongly administered bl00d, a consequence of improper record keeping!
Sadly, this is not an isolated incident.
In April 2015, a friend of mine also lost a loved one due to administration of counterfeit drugs.
But these are just my personal experiences! There are countless others that have experienced same and even worse. These experiences only highlight a systemic issue within our healthcare system. It's high time we took decisive action to address these grave shortcomings onchain through @base!
I'm proud to be working alongside @ophirkaycee @psalmuel1st and my other Basesome team members to develop a solution to address this and make a real difference in the health sector.

This week I built:
🔵 Organized and hosted Based Africa Hack Days in Nigeria and Ghana.
🔵 Delivered a speech on “Building Onchain with @base”. Also highlighted Onchain platforms like @zora @paragraph, and others that the builders can utilize to benefit from the Global economy Onchain.
🔵 Hosted an AMA session with all communities we collaborated with @baseafrica to help answer all questions regarding the buildathon as well as unblock blockers.

They asked what I was going to Ghana for and I said “I’m organizing a Hack Day event over there”, they asked me to tell them all about it, and there was I!💃🏽🔥
I first asked them if they knew what blockchain was, they affirmed, I went further to ask if they knew what Ethereum was, they also affirmed, I was excited cos that made the work easier for me!
I explained to them the challenges of ethereum and how Base is solving that, then went further to explain to them how Base is bringing the world Onchain to create a Global economy that increases creativity, innovation and freedom and how they could be a part of it.🔵

Awesome lady👌! We had a conversation and I could clearly see her genuine concern for the underpayment and low job opportunities for writers in the web2 space (which is something she faced being a writer in her early stage) and how there was a need for this to be solved Onchain.
She talked about going the route of creating an Onchain app to help with this, but then, I wanted her to test the market first, create a community of writers and help them see how the Onchain ecosystem can be of benefit to them by utilizing the current Onchain platforms available for writers like @paragraph and Mirror.
Stoked to see the outcome of this gathering and the number of writers she’ll be bringing Onchain!
