Have seen a few casts recently on how we should attract more developers to Farcaster
In talking to developers building on Farcaster today—and developers who built on Farcaster previously and then stopped—the top request is more users.
Why more users?
- More users on Farcaster means more people to potentially use their product
- If the product is a business, more usage means more opportunity to make money
- Acquiring users for an app or service is *really* hard

Farcaster, like a country, has a GDP, which is the overall economic activity or value generated on top of the protocol. I wrote about the importance of growing it, and some of the projects working to do that
