my unifying theory is that
1. debuggers are overkill for most web services, where the logic layer is simple and the data / infra layer holds the complexity
2. debuggers are very effective for software where the logic layer is real-time and complex (operating systems, games, basically anything with a runloop)

We plan to release a new hubble version and broadcast location info on Friday. We need to min versions hubs on Friday to make this work.

One point of feedback we got on the Snapchain design doc is that we didn't fully explain why sync in the current model is a problem.

We're shutting down the x-posting experiment.
For a few months, we've been testing a feature with a few users to cross posts their tweets from X to Farcaster.
We're shutting it down because we can't get it to work reliably with the current APIs, and when it fails it's really frustrating for users.

We're seeing a spike in unread messages on status.warpcast.com
The good news is that it doesn't seem to be impacting users. It appears that our hubs are sending our backend old messages that it's already seen for some unknown reason.

If you have previously connected Yup to Farcaster or Twitter, we recommend disconnecting it to be safe.

The naive answer is "automated activity" but this isn't right. Over 75% of spam we find comes from real humans who have phones, wallets and x accounts.
The best definition is "inauthentic activity". It's that feeling you get when you realize that someone who is following, liking or replying to is doing it to benefit themselves and not because they're interested in you.
