so i lost my airpods case yesterday and while i was about entering the restaurant i just left before i started looking for it, an older looking man approached me and told me to help him get some food (some bread) and after i did that there was this joy that came over me, i wasn’t angry or sad that i had to buy a new airpods case again, lol.

Flexed for good today 💪

Many parts of the South Atlantic states are disaster zones after Hurricane Helene ripped through the area this weekend.

There were some ways I was able to maximize my donation:
- American Airlines is offering 10 bonus miles for every dollar donated to the Red Cross at this link https://www.redcross.org/donate/cm/americanairlines-pub.html/
- Chase Freedom credit card is offering 5% back using PayPal this quarter (and also at select charities including the American Red Cross)
- Chase Freedom "Pay Yourself Back" program allows you to use your reward points to pay for purchases at select charities (including American Red Cross) at a 25% discount - so I'm going to use $75 worth of points to pay off this $100 charge
- the Red Cross is a 501c3 organization meaning this $100 donation is tax deductible
- my employer unfortunately does not match 501c3 donations but many employers do. I'm also going to scan through Twitter to see if a celeb or someone is doing donation matches
