i'm working on /merv, a frame-first farcaster client for power users; the goal is for it to be the primary way of consuming farcaster, but no auth or anything required: launch warpcast, then launch /merv right away as a frame
- multiaccount-first
- scheduled casts
- anoncasting
- no downtime
- keyword search/subs
- meaningful notifs
- coin/nft alpha
- anything else a power user might want

The Case for Digital Art: Why I Collect in a Changing World
I’ve always been surrounded by artistic influences. My family worked in the film industry, and my dad ran his own print shop for over two decades after studying print technology in Seattle in the 1970s. He was also an avid photographer. As a kid, I worked in that shop, operating a giant, aging Heidelberg press from Germany—a hulking mechanical beast with flashing wheels and spinning gears. I remember carefully laying down glass plates with photo negatives from our own darkroom, cut by hand with an X-Acto blade, and pressing them into place.
Collecting has always been second nature to me. From stamps and sports cards to NFTs, I’ve always felt a connection to the act of collecting. But why do people collect? It’s a deeply personal experience, but for me, one reason stands out: a connection to time and place.

The trip across Europe was great but it sure did feel good to be back in San Francisco after the 12 hour plane ride.
Met so many inspiring friends, artists and creators.

Had a great journey abroad but feeling run down, wherever illness I caught has affected me far worse than I’d like to admit.

Leaving Rome 🥲 I spent a lot of time at this cool little espresso spot. In Italy it’s very common to have just a bar people stand at and sip their coffee ☕️ in the morning, this place was also a tabbach (tobacco store) and pretty amazing restaurant. A real one stop shop.

Today I saw the Ecstasy of St. Teresa at the Church of Santa Maria della Vittoria in Rome.
