Wells, Vermont is a lush little mountain town in the middle of Vermont, near the the New York border.
Cabo Polonio, Uruguay
It is probably the quietest places I´ve been. Houses don´t have electricity or running water (many houses have water wells) There are no private vehicules, to get there you must use the public transport ( big 4x4 dune trucks)
Enjoy a walk on the beach to one of the biggest sea lion reserves and at night be amazed by the starriest star you can find
