"Joking with Anxiety" is a vivid encapsulation of my internal world, a visual representation of the tumultuous dance between my anxiety and the facade of cheerfulness I often present. The striking colors that flood the canvas are the emotions I feel intensely, each hue a note in the cacophony of my daily existence. The fragmented, almost cubist distortion of my features reveals the dissonance I experience, my outward appearance disjointed from my inner turmoil. This is a story of sorrow, resilience, mystery, introspection, passion, secrets and memories. In creating this work, I sought to capture the interplay between inner emotional landscapes and external forces.
