I cringe at failed Europeans and North Americans going to Thailand, Indonesia and company; they film a couple of trees and take pictures of sad faces, then suddenly become "film directors" and "photographers."
The way @bryanjohnson framed unhealthy habits and consumption in his latest video is simply genius.

For example, smoking two cigarettes per day is -30mins from a lifetime, would you still smoke? If kids unhealthy lunch was -10mins, would you still feed them the same thing if you had another option?
Following ethics means doing certain things even if they aren't immediately in your favour. It helps others avoid facing the same issues by the same people.
We don't have to downgrade one to compliment another.
