Reflection and thoughts on 1 week of daily streaming sessions on Streamm;
As an experiment, I streamed different things I was doing around Moxie and fan tokens purchases each day last week. It was easy to box into specific time and plan.
BUT ...
- Streaming is hard. It's not that the tools are hard or doing something live is hard; it's the technical setup, connectivity and synchronous nature of it that make it hard to do, to enjoy and to have fun with it.
What do I mean:
- if your or mine connections are not top notch, you won't see what I'm showing, or you won't be able to comment, or the stream will get cut off
- live stream is also usually longer than typical async video would be
- if you are not free right at the time when the live stream happens, it totally misses the interactivity which is the main point why I would do live streams. Without some form/shape of interactivity between host and viewers it's way easier and better for everyone to just go with async video/audio way.

Announcing the Moxie reward Distribution on Streamm.tv,
live from now until the end of September:
- Streamers need a Moxie fan token, but streams don’t need to be Moxie gated.
- Total Rewards = Sum of (FarScore * attendance %). Attendance is considered 100% if it’s over 80% of the stream time; otherwise, it’s your actual percentage.
Reward Breakdown:
- 50% to the host
- 20% to the streamer ft holders (can be adjusted by the streamer)
- 20% to any of the stream attendees
- 10% to Streamm ft holders
Example:
- Total stream rewards: 2000 Moxie
- Your FarScore: 1,000, attended 90% (counts as 100%)
- Another attendee (only two attendants in the stream ): FarScore 2,000, attended 50%
Reward Distribution:
- Streamer share: 1000 Moxie
- Streamer FT holders’ share: 400 Moxie
- @Streamm FT holders’ share: 200 Moxie
- Your share: You receive 200 Moxie for your attendance!
