Wrapping up a quiet and mostly unplugged Saturday with this lil man. Did some serious self care today. We’re at the finish line for some massive shipping at Fuel and shit has been intense!!! Excited to head to Permissionless nest week— bummed to be away from my fur baby. Hit me up if you’re in Salt Lake next week.

Figured I’d have Timothy Leary help me with some narratives for my new comms role. Just got this book, written in the 80s/90s and this passage is so spot on. Of all the walls I run into in crypto, the “problem persons” is HANDS DOWN the biggest obstacle to progress and authentic building for true solutions (not the casino).
Did some work with an amazing energy practitioner today. Been working with her since October of last year and she helped move the energy of 11months in a hostile, toxic work environment and helped me navigate the aftermath of that abrupt ending. Today was the first session since March, and in that time, I adopted the sweetest lil pup, found an absolutely amazing job and made progress with the healing process for my neck.
To see the progress today was amazing. And the energy that moved through in today’s session is some next level shit. It’s on, my friends. 🤗

Having worked w quite a few AWS ex employees last year…this is 1000% legit.
Time to focus on the Human Layer in our ecosystem and heal the traumatic lock-in of violence and separation in web2 tech. I am now in charge of comms AND community at Fuel and am sheparding our marketing as well— and building a new way of marketing for web3 entirely. Last leg of a long fucking journey from /ethcc 1000% worth it…but my bed is calling and all I can think about is doggo cuddles, edibles and sleep. So much sleep.
I managed to not get too sick this journey. Mostly bc i brought an entire apothecary with me, attended no side events except my team’s and took decompression breaks everyday. My new team is also so amazing that I never once felt compelled to drink my stress away.
Our work is beyond exciting and seeing it all in motion last week was beyond amazing. Grateful.

Last day of /ethcc and I am beyond grateful & hopeful. Seeing the evolution of both the tech and the human layer in our ecosystem has been an absolute anthropological journey for me for the past 8 yrs.
Knowing I’m part of a team that is also here for the long game…the infinite game…to change lives thru tech is why I sacrifice so much for our infinite game. And embracing self care while running hard here at ethcc has also been my personal evolution as a leader and a yogi. Beautiful things are happening in crypto and an amazing human layer is behind it. And im blessed to be part of it.

Returned today and chatted w the barista. She said she used crypto for the first time yesterday. She was hooked. Said it was so easy. That’s it. That’s the work. Transactions onchain that are as seamless as apple pay, etc. grateful for the hard work of the /base team to make this shit a reality. 🤗

What a difference 8 months makes. Last time I flew thru here, I was headed to DevConnect. I was in a bar, having toxic meetings with absurd convos and my nervous system was shattered. Today…my new team is sharing kind messages, my nervous system is calm and I’m peaceful. So wild! I think I’ll just do a photo story w my farcaster for this trip. Enjoy!!

Welp…ole bessie shit the bed mid project today…so I had to go snag a new rig on the fly. My holiday will be spent getting her dialed in. Kinda seems appropriate to spend what might be the last real Independence Day prepping my rig for decentralized goodness.
