i’ve been going down the bittensor rabbit hole and brought it up to my guy today.
he not only knew what it was, but understood how it works, who’s behind it, and the bull case for the token.
and now he’s taking me out for a hike + beach + burgers date after he puts air in my tires.
so grateful to have found someone who speaks all my love languages.
sure, i could fill my own tires and flip my own burgers, but i can’t imagine how insufferable i’d be to someone who doesn’t speak crypto 😆🥰

highly recommend giving Carly a follow. this vid is a good example of the kind of fact-based reporting she’s doing that cuts through all the noise, partisanship, and BS.

Warpcast “following” feed is still not showing all casts from everyone I follow. I would have thought Snapchain would have solved for this?

had a support call with the telegram bot service i use after several base tokens had mysteriously vanished from my portfolio view.

2 months ago i wrote an in-depth piece about an obscure Beeple collection, the Everyday Artifacts.
every NFT is a 1/1 and the floor at the time was 2.8E
in the past two days there have been sales of 6E and 7E, and there is now only one left listed for 10E.
i suspect stock in the collection rose following the recent release of “Minted” on Netflix, which featured the collection toward the end of the doc.
pretty nice to see my thesis validated. follow for more alpha 😉

Horseshoe Bend is one of those places i wish i visited in the pre-IG era.
the combo of being easily accessible and highly gram-able makes it a very popular spot for visitors (read: over-crowded, noisy, and honestly pretty dangerous scene).
we visited before they built a designated viewing platform and railings, and it felt like pure chaos.
droves of tourists piled in on buses, shoving their way to any vacant piece of real estate they could find to 'get the shot.'
i was fully expecting someone to slip to their death while we were there, and in fact someone did a few days after our visit.
loud convos, influencer vids, people facetiming, selfie sticks and vlogs were rampant.
most people appeared to be checking a box v. really experiencing it:

no judgement on my part, it's just not my journey. things i treasure in nature are tranquility, solace, stillness.
i give it 5/10. easy enough to swing by on a road trip through the Grand Canyon area, but wouldn't go out of your way.

many ppl are speculating that BJ Penn is suffering from Capgras Syndrome, a rare delusional disorder where someone believes their loved ones have been replaced by an identical imposter.
BJ made a name for himself as a multi-division UFC Champ, then threw his hat in the political ring, running for Governor of Hawaii as a republican in 2022. that was a completely different type of delusion.
he’s been dropping increasingly disturbing posts about how his mom and other family members (including kids) have been murdered and replaced with imposters. it’s escalating quickly and is clearly unsettling behavior.
what’s less clear is what’s causing it … too many hits to the head? excessive drug use? both?
he’s been known locally as a hot head who likes to party and ppl are making some heavy accusations as the posts ramp up.
it’s really sad to see and i hope he gets the help he needs before someone gets hurt. i’ve seen this story play out before and it doesn’t end well.
