today we're getting our first preview of what's to come from RekTech, the squid games of crypto.
they're teasing their upcoming TGE in Ansem's game today.
$DREAM is coming. and the more XP you have, the more DREAM you get. they have partnerships with Pudgies, Ansem, Zeneca, EasyEats and they're launching RekTech as a service and have collabs coming up with some of the biggest brands out there.

one unfortunate thing that happened tonight (and i know this b/c it almost happened to me) is that anyone who minted in frame on farcaster was instructed to 'cast' your alliances, while anyone minting on the site was directed to 'tweet' their alliances.
but only the ppl who tweeted were afforded immunity.
as a result, some good folks caught some strays tonight.

years later, a friend kept trying to convince me to “mint some apes” but i couldn’t wrap my head around paying ‘hundreds’ of dollars for monkey jpegs.
but i did start self educating myself and fell way down the rabbit hole.
i didn’t have anyone to hold my hand, i learned everything the hard way.
- paid $80 in gas and waited 2 days to bridge $100 from ETH to Polygon
- lost gas war after gas war until i finally learned to adjust manually
- returned a ledger after realizing you never buy one from a 3rd party
the list goes on and on.
i began working FT in crypto in 2022 as the head of growth & ops for Overpriced JPEGs and have since worked with a variety of crypto teams and builders.
i worked at a creative agency serving crypto clients alongside @kagami and that’s how i know he’s best in class at UX/UI feedback.

6 years ago i was super early to an easy-to-farm mobile app that you logged into and clicked daily for reward points.
i stopped after some redditors said it was a waste of time and there was no token incoming. but not before onboarding a few of my closest friends and fam for those sweet referral points.
fast forward to today, and not only did Pi drop their token, but it's currently sitting just outside the Top 10 coins by market cap ... ranked #11 ahead of chainlink and hedera.
the funniest part is not that i maybe missed out on generational wealth (again), but that some of my normie referrals actually kept on clicking.
i'm hoping it's a big W for them and that althought it's their first exposure to crypto, it won't be their last.

after realizing last year that the farcaster events were kinda my faves, i decided to skip the majority of eth denver this year and instead flew in specifically to hit up just the GMfc and main fc parties.

i read the linked article 4 years ago and have since been dying to try culver’s to see for myself if it is in fact better than in-n-out.
today was finally that day.
to level set, i am not an I-n-O maxi. i think the fries are meh and the burgers are okay. that said, like most hawaii ppl, i will eat there on occasion when on the west coast for nostalgia sake.
and … in all honesty, i don’t see how anyone in their right mind could objectively say that I-n-O is better than culver’s.
culver’s burgers are juicier, the buns are better, and you can get 3 different types of cheeses (hello cheddar!)
the menu is longer, their fries are cooked to perfection, and they make frozen custard (which although it’s not really my thing, i tried anyway just to be fair). to my knowledge, I-n-O doesn’t do dessert at all.

I had a sweet gig lined up working on govt contracts, but since federal agencies are no longer a thing, it fell through 😔
Since that’s not happening:
1) I booked a last minute trip to ETH Denver
2) I’m available for new roles + fractional work
If you’re in Denver, I’ll be at the GM Farcaster & main Farcaster events and can't wait to see ya!
If not, I’d still love to chat. Some of my most treasured friendships in the space began with a 15 minute call.
Dropping a link below, but the TLDR is I can do most things non-technical. More specifically, I’ve been working in crypto for the last 3 years in roles spanining growth & ops to comms & marketing, with a lot of strategy, partnerships, research & content sprinkled in.
