There are too many amazing places to live to spend 90% of the year in just one. I know there is a better way. One of the most fundamental shifts I expect to see in my life over the next few years is iterating upon this. I call it seasonal living.

Rewatching Fever Pitch tn. Great movie. October’s a good time to watch it. I was at one of the Sox games when they were filming. First time in Boston. I was 10. Went with my dad. We knew something was up bc it was summer and there was snow on the sidewalks. Fake snow for the film.

AI app for easy summarization of any page on the web on mobile. Nothing novel here. Strictly optimizing path to access.
What I mean by that is I want to be able to click a “summarize” button in 2 clicks from anywhere on the web on mobile… 2 options to get there.
1. The share button at the bottom of the page that looks like a box with an up arrow. Scrolling down on that page that pops up should have a “Summarize” button.
2. Less critical, but if user doesn’t want to summarize whole page user should also be able to highlight however much of it and then access the share button from the options for highlight text (to the right of Copy and Find Selection).
The summary should pop-up in the mobile app for this tool similarly to ChatGPT conversations and optionally you should be able to ask questions about the page following the initial summary just like with other AI tools.
Again the only thing different about this is the easy access to single purpose function (summarize) on mobile.

I would say Nathan’s hot dog eating contest is a net negative for their brand. They must not agree, or else they would stop doing it.

Learning from their reflections after is much more common because that’s when people more popularly write books to offer the memory-flawed secrets to their success.
Hard to beat understanding their perspective and learning about what they are doing while they are in it.
Two great examples:
“Sacred Hoops” by Phil Jackson (1995) after his first 3 NBA championships as a coach but before 8 more.
“The Journey Is The Reward” about Steve Jobs (1988) after he built and got fired from Apple but before he came back, iPod, iPhone, etc.
