Why Solana might win: because there are always more dumb people than there are smart people.
Why Solana will not win: big capital is allocated by smart people and liquidity begets liquidity. So m Sony building an L2, bank and stable, same as Deutsche Bank building an L2 are prime examples of smart brains choosing Ethereum bringing in loads of liquidity.
It’s just not as simple as a meme, that’s why Solana has the narrative for now. Luckily smart money sees through narrative and follows fact.

As if our permissionless mission has been granted permission to take over the permissioned. That doesn’t make sense to say, but perhaps in a poetic way it does.

If they’re wrong, it shows that they have built an instrument through which it really pays off to take the best informed choice, going against the grain.
Either outcome will be a positive for Polymarket.

Coinbase Wallet just made a subtle but smart update that simplifies bridging between networks. Instead of a separate “bridge” feature, you now use “swap” to transfer assets between networks, like moving ETH from Base to Mainnet. This change reduces complexity and makes it more user-friendly.
Wouldn’t it be even better if I could just type “send to [username].base.eth” in my wallet? Then, the wallet would understand it’s a cross-network transaction and handle the bridging automatically. This would remove the need to think about L1/L2 complexities and make transfers feel almost seamless.
Exciting to see these improvements as we get closer to a more intuitive web3 experience!

Every team, every dev, that’s building onchain, should get one of these, carry it around all day and optimize their UX for the dGEN1.
UX on my iPhone is clunky all the time. Having to connect again, sign requests not popping up after clicking. Etc etc.
If you prioritize for your power users (which dGEN1 users absolutely are imo) you’ve got your priorities straight .

So I wanted to get my hands on it. I did the same with the Rabbit r1, which turned out to be a disappointment.
