this is actually a really interesting way to ask for product features. since its launched as a coin you essentially get a temperature check how much people want it …

sometimes i would like to be an intern again. a field i am not good at but excited about with a mentor that would love to guide me.

kind of feel internships for grown up as a form of creative sabbatical would be killer
Wrote a new blog post about thoughtless act and thoughtful hacks. As part of my future thesis on play. Please read it here:

Not a fan of those play to earn mechanics... if I am honest. I know free money that you might get, but this one feels not right.

While I'm passionate about technology, culture, markets, and narratives, there's an underlying thread that always pulls me back: play is what truly drives me. I've decided to dedicate more time to this passion again. I'm not yet certain what form it will take or where it will lead, but I want to experiment with different formats and platforms, hopefully finding others who want to explore play alongside me.

This is my first note on play. I aim to release an initial draft of my play thesis this month, but for now, I'm simply capturing thoughts here.

I'm also using this as an opportunity to try different platforms and tools, giving @fountaindotink a shot because I like their formatting. I might launch an entirely different blog elsewhere later this week.

Taking it seriously, but not too seriously, essentially like play itself.

Feel free to read my first reflection on Immersion and Play, inspired by seeing Billie Eilish yesterday.

Accidental freudian slip.

If autonomous agents with wallets browse your website / content why not asking them to leave a tip?

sometimes I wonder if chains should just give out some vibe code UBI, but really the only thing you have to do is show up and create instead of airdrop, grants, etc
the cool thing if you coin your outrage about $zora on zora you will get a small cut of the fees they make.
Is the future of finance billions of micro market caps of unrealized value? Value that can’t really be realized anyway without rugging yourself?
My biggest issue with the content is coin meta is that I feel "value" is very abstract for new users. Wait I have to pay myself and the platform to own my own content? Wait I only get 0.0x % fees, wait I just got 1% of my own content, but when I sold I did not get all of what the UI said, because I did not understand what market value is.
Reading Bullshit Jobs by Graeber and there is this great anecdote on the difference on value versus values. Looking at crypto twitter and especially the ETH and ethereum discussion makes me think that we talk with each other about two interconnected but also different concepts and ideas.

The value of the future of finance is a different conversation than than the values of the future of finance.

Applies also to other topics. The value of privacy vs the values of privacy, etc. Related yes but often two different conversations.

I find it hard sometimes two discuss online because its not often clear what context others hold and therefore sometimes it feels we talk about the same thing but mean things completely different.

I miss the days where it was not just images and videos, but you could put an entire interactive website onchain on @zora

Click into it...

Self-Behavior Observation. I just minted something on @zora. Coming from the memecoin world I kind of love that I can frontrun others to have a stake. But then in the same place I do think its kind of weird to own media at launch. Also how much do I value this piece of content myself. If its good then I should ape into myself? What if it doesn't go viral? Should I not own anything at all and rely on fees? Fees can be good though. One way I can see this going is essentially you buying yourself in the hope to be seen more valuable to others, but not sure if I am fan of that dynamic.
Some thoughts about memecoins that are minted in context and not on a launchpad…
