My thesis since I work on "Metaverse Topics" pre pandemic, is that the we got the core idea right, but the "aesthetic interpretation" wrong. The metaverse is just the internet, it's just interoperable protocols, with composable and modular "actions" on top of it. That we plug in, and the internet plugs out into our world.

The problem with the "Metaverse" in my mind is that it's driven from a perspective of "Second Life > Fornite > Meta > Apple Vision", mainly focused on the look of it.

But the "feel" is already, here, the promise of the metaverse is a massive real-time multiplayer (agents and humans) collaborate closely together on top of local data and forever stored synced data (blockchains).

So @gnosispay just followed me. But how can I be sure that this is the real gnosis pay. Looking at the amount of "bots?" already here, how do we get some authenticity for brands here? I really think we are getting into a large cosplay issue with so many bots often come for "domain" squatting...

@sahil any idea how we could use some on-/offchain signal to verify here, because I feel followers and following do not work really, because we all act on best assumptions...
