- hearing /kendama dao’s story from @0xsatori (and getting my first spike 🤌)
- chatting w the goat @jessepollak. snapping a pic to capture where i’m at rn
i’m not a stranger to uncomfortable environments, but i realized yesterday that i love being in them. but it’s special to have communities like /nouns that make them a bit easier

re spam discussions, i’d like to share my exp as a “new user”.
- i was blind sided being labeled spam. *if* merkle want to have new users essentially prove they’re not bots by casting “thoughtful replies” in initial casts, it should be more transparent in onboarding. increased friction but better ux/retention
- also the wc exp is like twitter. short form, off the top stuff w deeper thoughts sprinkled. shitposts, memes, etc are common (and fun). another reason for transparency described^
- i’m hopeful that with channel changes, wc will empower the communities more
- re communities, changes made to wc in my short time here seem more successful when prioritizing community. removal of autofollow, boosts are stale (ironic that boosted posts feel the most spammy on my feed)

been on wc 2 months thanks to @undefined. it’s been challenging getting accustomed to the culture here, but i’ve been enjoying it nevertheless. i love the community, support, and build culture.
as i’ve been tinkering with frames, actions, products built on farcaster, it has motivated me even more to think of ways to make something people want (h/t yc/@jessepollak) on/off chain.
but today i found out i’m already labeled as spam.. wtf :(
