I decided against it because, while it’s very powerful, it uses more electricity than a regular vacuum. Living in a city where my power bill hits ~$500/month, I couldn’t justify it—especially since I rarely need a wet vac.
That said, if power costs aren’t a concern and you need a shop vac, I was genuinely impressed! It’s great at pulling water from carpet (26:49), comes with an extension rod, and I like that all the wet vac components are dishwasher safe. Downsides? You need to fully dry/clean parts when switching between wet and dry modes—but still, pretty convenient overall!

I’m so sad the new air filter I’ve been wanting to buy on Costco is sold out and I don’t think it’s going to come back. It was $200 cheaper than anywhere else, multi purpose (could hold plants or be hidden storage/side table), cloth options to change the aesthetic of the lower half…. Rip 🪦😭
