We've been patiently saving our weekly rewards in the hopes of one day being able to fund one of those magical sticks Toby (@treegirl) loves so much. And then pawther said we got a mysterious stick benefactor who donated to our stick fund.

I'm now realizing the humans take out one biscuit from the container when it's time for daily yard time and it somehow magically becomes two biscuits by the time we get outside. Suspicious.....

Weight loss journey update.
One year ago my furever family brought me home. I was excited and a nervous wreck. And 10 pounds overweight. At 74 pounds, all the activities I would later find to be my favorite things were so HARD. Walkies, car rides, chasing the ball....I struggled so much.
Walkies? I sat down after every block. Retrieving? Nope. No way I was running after it. Car rides? Humans had to carry me into the car because I couldn't hop up by myself.
But we persisted. With my humans' help and a lot of walkies, I slowly started losing weight. First it was one pound and then another. And now, one whole year later, I'm 10 pounds lighter and SO. MUCH. HAPPIER.
Walkies? I can walk for MILES. Retrieving? I AM SO FAST. Car rides? I hop in and out of the car all by myself now.
We're working on my walkies endurance now but I'm so close to being the lean mean ball retrieving muscle machine I was born to be.

Humans brought a new contraption on our weekly trek to the pupper park. I don't know what it is but it makes the ball go fast. 15/10 experience

What a weekend. I helped the humans dig holes, made some new pup friends, and got to try some tasty new food. 15/10 weekend.

One year (and 14 days) ago my humans brought me home to my forever home.
I'd spent the morning sunning, napping, and generally none the wiser to the shenanigans that were afoot.
And then it happened. The humans set a delicious smelling plate of decadence on my bowl stand and called me over. At first I was unsure so I gave it a tentative lick and the resulting flavor explosion in my mouth was nothing I'd ever tasted before. It was sticky and gooey and I was sure I'd died and gone to heaven.
My only regret is there wasn't more of it.

GUYS. SOMETHING IS HAPPENING
I wasn't sure about this bowl when the humans got it. But then something happened. Something primal. I found myself transported to some ancient faraway time where I had to hunt and forage to survive.
Here I am crunching the bones of my kills. I mean eating dinner.
